Near the Shallow Ford, where Federal cavalry  crossed the Chattahoochee River early on 9 July  1864.

At the monument to the Roswell men who served  the Confederacy and the mill workers who were  sent north.

Despite the chilly weather on Sundaymorning, the  walking tour of the northwest section of the Atlanta city defense line proceeded as planned. We  took a break in the Georgia Tech Student Center.
